I was contacted recently by an amazing woman, Amber Huntington Wright that was a survivor of the Columbine school shooting several years ago. Her and another survivor, Liz Carlston, author of Surviving Columbine.These women have struggled for years to overcome the emotional trauma of witnessing such an awful event. When they heard about the tragedy that took place at Sandy Hook Elementary they decided to try to help. They have come up with a book that they have contacted me to help with by illustrating each healing concept with a photograph. It is going to be distributed to the survivors in that school and is an exciting project that will hopefully help the children that are struggling to get back to their normal lives after such a horrific event.
